Perlis is the smallest state in Malaysia. The smallest state is known for its ‘kampung’ atmosphere and lush paddy fields. With a vast scenic flourishing landscape, the state offers a serene environment for nature lovers. The paddy fields seem to stretch the whole horizon and it gives a visitor the impression that the surrounding is being blanketed by an expanding canvas of dazzling green or gold.

The state possess has a tropical monsoon climate that is generally dry and warm. The wettest months are from May to December where floods might take place.
